Our Commitment

DIM-KAT Ltd. (trade name: MileCut) is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all users.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. MileCut aims to align with WCAG 2.1 Level AA principles and continuously improve accessibility over time. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide array of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.

We believe that the internet should be available and accessible to anyone and are committed to providing a website and application that are accessible to the widest possible audience, in accordance with:

  • European Accessibility Act (EAA) — accessibility requirements for digital services in EU markets
  • EN 301 549 — European accessibility standard aligned with WCAG for ICT products and services
  • Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 — Level AA alignment target, as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C)

Measures We Take

MileCut takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:

  • Include accessibility as part of our internal development policies and design system
  • Integrate accessibility into our procurement and vendor evaluation processes
  • Provide regular accessibility awareness training for our team
  • Assign clear accessibility goals and responsibilities across teams
  • Use automated and manual accessibility checks on a regular basis
  • Engage users with disabilities in our usability testing

Technical Specifications

The accessibility of MileCut relies on the following technologies to work with the particular combination of web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on your computer:

These technologies support our accessibility implementation and ongoing alignment efforts.

Accessibility Features

Navigation & Structure

  • Consistent, predictable navigation across all pages
  • Proper heading hierarchy (H1 through H6) for document structure
  • Skip navigation links to bypass repetitive content
  • ARIA landmarks to identify page regions

Visual Design

  • Color contrast ratios designed to align with WCAG 2.1 AA requirements (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text)
  • Information is not conveyed by color alone
  • Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
  • Responsive design that adapts to different screen sizes and orientations

Interactive Elements

  • All interactive elements are keyboard accessible
  • Visible focus indicators on all focusable elements
  • Form inputs include associated labels and error messages
  • ARIA attributes used for dynamic content and custom controls

Content

  • Alternative text for meaningful images
  • Transcripts and captions for multimedia content where applicable
  • Plain language used wherever possible
  • Link text that is descriptive and meaningful out of context

Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility, there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations and potential solutions. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.

  • Map visualizations: Route maps use visual representations that may not be fully accessible to screen readers. We provide equivalent text-based route information (stop list with distances and times) alongside all map views.
  • File upload: Drag-and-drop file upload areas include alternative keyboard-accessible upload buttons and clear labeling.
  • Third-party integrations: Some third-party content or services embedded in our platform may not fully align with accessibility standards. We actively work with vendors to improve accessibility support.

Feedback & Enforcement

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of MileCut. If you encounter accessibility barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us. We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 3 business days and to resolve issues within 15 business days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact your national equality body, consumer protection authority, or other competent enforcement authority in your jurisdiction.
